Souderton Vantage Academy

Lakeside’s Vantage Academies represent a collaborative partnership with local school districts to achieve positive results with at-risk student populations. The goal of the Vantage Academies is to incorporate educational, therapeutic, and behavior management services to enable students to seamlessly and successfully transition back to their home schools.

The Souderton Vantage Academy accepts regular and special education students in grades 7-12 who need a small, structured and nurturing therapeutic environment where academic success is a priority. Student eligibility criteria include a willingness and ability to commit to following the structure of the program, basic skill levels above fifth grade, the ability to learn in an inclusive classroom and no need of physical intervention on a regular basis to maintain the safety of self and others.

Vantage Academy is a licensed private academic school (PDE) and an approved provider of alternative education (AEDY). The results of annual inspections and reviews by the Pennsylvania Department of Education have repeatedly yielded excellent reports and commendations. Vantage Academy consistently exceeds the state’s requirements.
