Counseling or Tutoring

Services are provided on an hourly basis in your district, community or students’ homes to help students avoid placement. These services focus on students’ educational, emotional, behavioral or mental health needs.

In-School Counselor

Social Workers or Counselors are assigned to your district on a full or part time basis to provide mental health support, counseling related to special education needs, attendance accountability, behavior management or other services tailored to meet the needs of your district.

Therapeutic Educational Programs

These programs represent a holistic, team approach to reengaging students in the educational process. They include a full PDE approved curriculum taught by certified teachers as well as an array of special education services. They provide extensive counseling support and a proven behavior management system featuring motivational recognition and rewards.

E-Learning Program

Located at Lakeside School and Upper Merion Vantage Academy, educational services are provided through a blend of direct instruction and computer-based learning. A relational approach, along with accountability, is used to motivate students to attend and achieve academic success.

In-Home Program

Individual instruction and counseling are provided in the community or students’ homes for students unable to attend school or for GED preparation.
Transition from placement back to the public school is challenging for students. Extra support eases stress and increases students’ ability to achieve success. Post- placement support enables students to return to their district sooner and avoid common pitfalls while continuing toward long-term success.

Mobile Support Program

Services are provided on an hourly basis in your district, community or students’ homes. These services include counseling, attendance and behavioral accountability, as well as academic support when needed.

In-School Counselor
